Why hello there!

Okay so who am I and why do I do what I do?

I am the creator of Afrosensual Behavioral Health and I currently provide psychotherapy services including individual, couples, and sex therapy. My passion includes working with couples and individuals facing relationship issues and problems with sexual expression and intimacy. I enjoy guiding couples and individuals through their relational struggles to a life with deeper understanding, self-love, and sexual satisfaction. And why do I do this? Because I hold a strong belief that pleasure is our birthright and by no means our right to define what is pleasurable for us, even if it's not sex. But for those that do, I believe in the importance of creating a safe and nonjudgemental environment to explore and provide tools to build a life that is sexually satisfying to you.

In a society that is built up against time, money, and energy I understand how it can be difficult trying to make time for intimate relationships. That's why I am here to help. I am very empathetic but I also balance this out with being direct to ensure clarity of my role as a guide to increasing your sexual health and wellness. This includes assisting in developing positive and consensual sexual communication, utilizing self-regulation strategies when facing rejection, and acquiring skills on how to assert yourself as a sexual being.
